Katelyn’s Sweet 16!!

 June 9th, 2022 was a pretty big day for our whole family! After many hours of practice, Katelyn had passed her driving test the week before on her first try, with flying colors!  So on her birthday we had an appointment at the DMV to make it official. We have a teenage driver!!

She and her friends Linus, Liam and Lizzie had fun decorating for her party haha. They were the first to arrive and they really went to town with the streamers!

Katelyn with her crown! She's a queen, really.  And opening her ukulele!!

She wanted to have a chocolate tasting party!  So I bought 15 kinds and we did blind tests and they had to guess what kind it was.  it was fun! This is Leah, Liam, Linus, Kate, Lizzie, Aurora, and Jacob.

Siblings and Eric sat at the counter and got to participate! Here were all the kinds!!

Katelyn is so grown up and responsible, I am becoming used to the idea of her being an adult in the very near future!  She is wonderful and I'm excited to see what the future holds for her.
