Our other excursion was to a waterpark with a "Swim with Dolphins" experience- Dolphins are Emma's favorite animal so she was ecstatic!! The park was basically empty since it was too cold for the locals, so we didn't have to wait in line for anything. Here's Whitney and Emma coming off the end of this slide:
Owen did a ropes course that looked TERRIFYING! But he loved it! and Here's all the kids being pulled by Eric in the Lazy River.
More lazy river times, and flashback to the Ziplining place where we saw an iguana! (behind the girls)
And then the Dolphin Swim-- was amazing!!! It was expensive but we had a Buy 1 Get 1 Free, so Eric (who didn't really care to do it) opted NOT to do it so we would have an even number. And then he could take pictures so we didn't have to buy the picture package. But they made him sit really far away, hence the grainy pics.
Anyway, we all loved it, we got to touch the dolphins a bunch of times as they went by, see them do lots of tricks close up, learn many facts about dolphins, and each spend a couple of minutes one-on-one with the Dolphin! Petting them and following instructions to do some tricks with them. Their skin felt so cool!
Here is Owen having his turn.
Emma says: "I really wanted to see dolphins, and my dream came true!!" Here she is posing for her picture, with the rest of us around her- it was so cool.
Emma again smiling SO big.
Maris dancing with the dolphin.

the dolphin coming to see me. Sadly we didn't get any pictures of Whitney with the dolphin, but she did get to do all the stuff with them like the rest of us! I'm not much of an animal person, so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this experience. I guess I gained an appreciation for one of God's beautiful creations! It was absolutely worth it, super cool.
Whitney and Maris
Owen on the second level- it looked so hard but he did amazing and loved it!
Cuties sharing a towel at the end of the day! It was a fun adventure. Also we split into 2 taxis for the ride back, Whitney went in one and I went in the other so we had some Spanish ability in each! The drivers usually spoke some English as well, but Eric still didn't want to go without a translator. :)

After the Dolphin swim, we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with a sea lion show, some wimpy ziplining, swimming and going on slides. Eric and Whitney went on a super sketchy toilet drop slide haha. And here's Eric and Maris coming off of a slide. And then Whitney doing the first level of the ropes course and Maris turning back and deciding not to do it!
