Here she is opening some presents on her birthday morning:
hand me down toys from Maris, and maybe her favorite present- a beautiful stuffed dolphin from Grammy and Grandpa Jamie!
Side note- Kate and Whitney at the Payson Temple in March! Katelyn had a goal to go to the temple every month in 2022 and she did it!!
Emma's flower party-- was so cute. We made pretty hanging flower strings and this fun cake with fondant. She wanted to hold up five fingers constantly-- it was a joke between her and Eric and I. For months before her birthday, when we would ask how old she was, she would hold up 5 fingers. And we would protest and try to put down her extra finger, and I even started trying to eat her extra finger haha. She would erupt in giggles and keep waving her five-fingered hand in our faces to tease us. So now- she was actually 5! Oh and her nose is green because we did face paint, see below.

Also on Emma's birthday, she got to go out to lunch with mom and dad, and we played at the park. Oh and she wore ALL YELLOW!!

Luckily the weather was gorgeous for that time of year, so we got to do all the messy flower seed planting, pot painting, and face painting outside! And the obstacle course of course. Katelyn Whitney and Owen were super helpful!!

Emma is such a delight. We are grateful every day for her. She is going to do great things!!
