......Aaaandd we FINALLY get to use our passports!!

Since Japan was still closed, and our free place to stay was gone, we decided to take the kids to MEXICO for our first international family trip!! We went the first week of March.

Making it through the airports with 7 of us was an adventure!

But they were all SUPER excited to fly for the first time in 5 years (Emma 4). We had to plan out the seating arrangements so everyone got equal chances to sit by a window haha.  We had 4 flights- SLC to LAX, LAX to PVR, and then reversed.

It all went fairly smoothly. Except the whole wearing-masks thing.  So annoying that they dropped that requirement on planes like a month later!

Going through customs and getting our van to the resort was a little chaotic, but as soon as we got in that air-conditioning, Emma was out!

We got to see our first views of a real Mexican city on the drive, and then we were at our resort!!
