THE show of the year, the incomparable Les Miserables!!!

I finally get to post about this great event that will go down in family and community history! A tiny high school with great talent took on this difficult sung-through musical, and actually did it justice. They were so fabulous. It ran for 6 nights over 2 weekends, and after the first night, every night after was packed.  The word got out!! The last 4 nights sold out, the last 2 nights were sold out days in advance!  This has NEVER happened before at ALA or any school we know of!  It was sad to see all the people they turned away those last 2 nights!

Anyway this post will just be the hype and all the post show pictures.

So here's Katelyn and Lizzie in their finale costumes, and Liam in his Bishop costume.

Whitney had a ton of friends in the show, so she had a blast coming to see it more than once. This is Addie, Ellie, Reese, Madi, Whit, Todd and Nikko.
Todd was one of the Students in the show, and he was incredible!
Grammy got to come see the show!!!!! The stars aligned, it was so wonderful! And here's Katelyn in one of her other costumes, with Phoebe.
5th cousins!  Yep Lincoln was in the show, he was actually Gavroche!!  He was amazing and we all cried when he died.
Our Young Women's group came to see Sulice and Katelyn in the show, this is all I could find after for a pic though haha. Katie and Ady.
So glad I told Katelyn to make this picture happen and she did it!  This is all the Juniors in the show. Kaylee, Malena (Mdm Thenardier), Johnny(the student leader Enjolras), Lizzie, Leah, Liam(the Bishop), Christian(Javert), Phoebe, Andrea and Katelyn!
These represent the hours and hours of work I did for the show!  helped take these senior pictures, edited them, had them printed, helped hang them and decorate the lobby for the show. I made the form for the cast bios and copied and pasted responses in to a document for the program lady to edit and print. And signed up for all these things in this picture- I ended up seeing the show all 6 times haha!  I loved every minute of it. Eric saw it twice, or maybe 3 times? And Emma and Maris ended up seeing it like 4 times each??  They couldn't get enough it and kept BEGGING to come again!  They absolutely fell in love with it and learned lots of the songs. I really appreciated that it was the school edition- so the language and suggestive material were edited for family viewing, and listening!
One more of our stars!
