We got so much snow that week after Christmas! Eric took the older 3 skiing, and Emma and Maris and I played! They built a snow fort, and I helped them build sledding hills!
A different day we used up like all the snow (and the leaves under it!) making an army of snowmen!! AKA 7 snowmen, one for each person in our family. It was fun and took a lot of teamwork.
We loved our snowman army, they lasted for a long time!
Maris made this picture for Kurtis and really wanted me to take a pic of it so it could be saved forever. And she made these out of the toys Elizabeth gave us, and needed a picture of them too.
Emma loved her snowman and kept hugging it! And here's Maris sliding down her hill.
Meanwhile on their ski day, Whitney got her hair frozen! Apparently it was foggy, but then the moisture would freeze, so crazy!
Look at this gorgeous fresh snow!! Good job Whitney Owen and Katelyn. And Eric!! The mastermind of this whole thing!
This was a cool rainbow cloud thing going on one day at sunset, and Cute Maris on a solo skiing trip with Eric.
And lastly, that one day when the kids made a sliding ramp on our driveway, complete with a banked turn at the end. They had a great time taking turns sliding down it! We have tried to make the best of all the snow we got this winter. Not loving it so much in March when all the soccer games are getting cancelled...
