Let the Christmas festivities begin/a happy change

One of the first Christmas-y things we did in December was go to this cool Light celebration at Rio Tinto Stadium with Grandma and Grandpa Murray.  It was fun but FREEZING! Here's cute Maris enjoying the light pads- and me and Maris.

With Eric in the light maze.

Whitney loving every photo op!
Whit with Emma, and....with Cleo???? Wait, what??  Our long-lost cousin??

Yay!  I love to kiss Eric haha. And cute Emma and....Vivian?  Another cousin??
They had different light shows set up on the field and stands for about 10 Christmas songs, it was super cool.

....and here you can see clearly, yes we got to hang out with Ryan and Cortnee's girls!  In a crazy turn of events, that has been nothing but happy for us, Mary and Brad ended up being the guardians of Cleo, Vivian, and Naomi from the day after Thanksgiving until well after Christmas!  That situation is ongoing, but it's important to note that they were reunited with their father at the end of January.  Still living in Highland with him at Grandma and Grandpa's house as of this post date.

So pretty!

These light pads were pretty magical!  They would change colors when you jumped on them, and since they were covered in snow, they had a beautiful glow to them....I was entranced!

The kids had a great time on them. Even the big kids!

One last pic of Emma and Naomi out to dinner at the Ramen place.  After seeing their cousins maybe twice a year for the last 2 years-- it has been super fun to reconnect with the cousins who live the closest to us!! And we are grateful we could be there to support and love them during a crazy and hard time in their life.
