I Did It
Well, I did it. I drove to California and back with my girls all by myself. I made it!! Woo-hoo!! We did stay a night in Primm (halfway) both ways ( I got the hotel rooms for $13 a night at hotels.com) and we stopped a couple of times and found some great parks to play at. But I did something I thought I'd never be able to do. Yay!

Way to go! I've always driven with Ryan or someone else when driving longer than three hours, and now that I'm responsible for Caleb, it's a little daunting to drive long distance alone. Now you can look forward to many great drives to family :)
ReplyDeleteI admire your guts. The furthest I've gone by myself is to visit my parents in Ephraim. I've never done an overnight stop. By the way my mom mentioned that sometime when I come to visit them you should come for a visit to. I guess your not that far from them. That would be lots of fun.

ReplyDeleteYou're giving me hope. We're thinking of driving home to Utah for the summer. It would be intense! But if you did CA by yourself . . . maybe it's doable. We'll see!
