Right before Labor Day, we had a lucky run in with Jenae on her way back from California...and she brought us grapes!! Best sister ever!!
We headed down to St. George for one more quick trip Labor Day weekend, because Mary and Brad had gifted us tickets to Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat! Starring David Archuleta!!
We took these pics with the signs for the other shows of the season too.
The show was good, David Archuleta was fantastic, but it was SO HOT! Like still 100 degrees when the sun went down at 9pm!
We went to see the Cravens and got to meet their chickens! Whitney was in heaven and even Maris was persuaded to touch one haha.
And they came swimming in Hurricane- I took these cute pics of Emma, Travis and Justin. Cuties!
Also at the end of August, we got this sweet new car! A Rav 4 Hybrid! We had ordered it, and it was supposed to come in October they said. We gritted our teeth and prepared to handle soccer season with 2 cars and the motorcycle....and then it came WAY early! It was SUCH a blessing, I don't know how we would have handled September without it!! It's an awesome car with great gas mileage, and buying it brand new was cheaper than buying a used one! (Because of the delays in getting them. We got lucky!!)
Yay for a show! Honestly though....besides David Archuleta, it wasn't any better than things I've seen at BYU for a fraction of the price.
Haha.
