Traveling fun….the Mark Twain Riverboat and Caves were kind of a Bust though

We used many kinds of transportation on this trip. It was fun to fly!  But taking all of us through airports is always entertaining. Especially the SLC airport- they have this mile long tunnel that is ridiculous!  Here are the girls going down into the tunnel.
Also we made the drive to Nauvoo and back in our rental car, and drove around tons in St. Louis. On the way to Nauvoo we stopped in Hannibal, MO and we got to experience old timey boat transportation! The Mark Twain Riverboat wasn't that exciting actually. But we tried to have fun.

The Mark Twain caves were cool too- except you cant climb around or anything.

Funny poses! Me and Eric, Emma
Whitney, Maris and Emma
This was funny- in the gift shop for the caves Whitney found this- they can't even spell their own country's name in English haha. or it's a knock-off of a knock-off??
We got to cross lots of bridges over big rivers on this trip!  Here's one over the Mississippi in St. Louis.
Oh and here's us having movie night at our hotel in St. Louis.  And a gorgeous blooming tree right outside our window.  Like I said, we were trying to escape the coldest Spring ever in Utah, so flowering trees were a novelty and so heartening to see.
Breakfast at the hotel was pretty good too!
We stopped at this park on the way to Hannibal. Here's Owen pushing Maris almost vertical, and Katelyn stopping pushing Whitney and Whitney complaining about it haha.
More riverboat pics- Emma going down to the lower deck, and everyone else on top.
Chilly in the shade, warm-ish in the sun.
These were the bathroom stalls, like old saloon doors LOL
L: Eric driving into Nauvoo as the sun set over the Mississippi!
R: It was cool to see different cities on the freeway signs!!  We are used to Salt Lake, Las Vegas, Cheyenne, Reno, Boise.  So we were like, Memphis or Chicago?? Let's go!!
And last but not least, the flight home was dark and quiet.  Emma fell asleep on the other side of Owen as you can kind of see.
