Spring Soccer Mash-up

So much cold and wet....that was the Spring season!  But all the kids still had fun playing. Maris played great defense; here she is #22.

I love that she's not afraid. you can see in both of these pictures, everyone is running towards her but the ball is already going back the other way- she already got to it!

Emma- poor Emma. She ended up napping a few times when she got dragged to a game on a school afternoon. But she also got to enjoy her own season in Spanish Fork again, and did great!
Team picture on the last day, and with the amazing cookie that someone on the team's Grandma made!

In both of these she is wearing Gold- on the left, she's about to score.  On the right, moving the ball as usual! She was one of only a handful of girls in the league who could move the ball down the field.  She just GETS dribbling and shooting! And she's tall and strong enough to make it happen! (She does NOT get running back to help on defense or passing.... but that can come later!) Once again Emma scored more goals than any of her siblings have in a season- by far. Crazy!
This was actually CRAZY- it was POURING rain. They played the first half and then called it- it's only kindergarten soccer and they were freezing. Owen and Maris had fun running around in the rain at the playground during this game too haha. So here's Emma dribbling with the whole crowd following behind, and smiling with her coat under her jersey!!

Owen rocked the defense and improved a lot with such good coaching.  This is my favorite picture from his Spring season- grass stains on his shoulder??!? haha soccer gets rough!!

So classic- Whitney and her team all taking their BeReals after a game haha!! This was in Orem on Whitney's birthday.

Whitney being a beast.  Her team had a good season, ended solidly in the middle of Division 1.
One more picture of Owen, doing a pull-back or something!  He's number 25. And our April Calendar!  I've started taking a picture every month before I erase it.  Just so I can look back later on all the crazy.
