Some hikes

 And bike rides too I guess haha!  So...I think this was on the 4th of July??  But it might have just been near there somewhere.  I just love family bike rides. So I make them do it once a year!  

And the River Trail is so beautiful on Summer mornings!

The reason we purposely went on several hikes in June, was to prepare to hike the Zion Narrows in July (dream come true!!) So here's one we did kind of spur-of-the-moment while Whitney was at soccer camp and Katelyn was working. The Hot Springs hike!

It was pretty warm outside, so we spent more time in the cold river than the hot springs actually.

And had a fun time.  The kids were fine on the 4.5 mile hike- much easier than when we hiked it fall 2017!

Also it was crazy- on the way home we ran over a big rock that had fallen in the road, and got a flat tire.  So we ended up making it to Costco just in time to get it fixed and buy Costco pizza for dinner and eat it there before they closed. It was an adventure.

One time Katelyn and Maris and I went on a hike in Salem- it was really steep and not that fun but probably good training for the narrows considering how many rocks we were walking on.

And one time we hiked to the Cross. The girls found these HUGE Dandelion type flowers to blow.
