Katelyn’s Movie Party and 17th Birthday

 Backwards post alert!  But it's okay. 

Katelyn almost didn't have a 17th birthday party.  But at the last minute she decided to invite all of the Drama 4 and MDT people and have a movie night.  We borrowed a screen and watched Princess Bride, and had popcorn and smores with the fire pit, and it turned out great! We did it a week after her birthday, on the same day we got home from Girls Camp, and it was a little chilly, but it worked out!  

She wanted ice cream instead of cake, so we made it work haha!

Such a strange crew haha!  But they are kind and supportive friends to her. Sulice, Aurora, Leo(Kaylee), Lynus, Alex, Sophie, Naomi, Phoebe, Xander, Jacob and Liam. 

On her actual birthday a week earlier, she had cheesecake and we went to Texas Roadhouse :)

We had had so few sunny days, that we went outside to open some of Katelyn's presents!

One of her presents was a nice little blender.  She used it right away, and Whitney was also prepping herself some breakfast, and Owen was making a smoothie in our blender too- so I had to get a picture of my little chefs! Also, Whitney bought Katelyn that Cocoa Puffs shirt, cute! Since Katelyn at one point had cocoa puffs every morning for probably a year lol.

This was funny- she tried to rip slowly to bug everyone, and only a tiny piece came off lol.

Having a 17 year-old?  Two thumbs up!! 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend. :)
