August is always a Blur

Once again these pictures uploaded backwards. but in this case it doesn't really matter! August is such a blur of soccer and school starting and trying to fit in last-minute swimming while it's still hot and last-minute trips (this time to Rexburg) that these pictures could have been taken at any time! Emma played soccer for the first time and it was beyond adorable. There will be a separate post about this, but here's a sneak peak: hint- she is the one trying to score a goal.

for Labor Day weekend we went to Idaho for Evelyn's baptism! We stopped and had a nice visit in Pocatello, and did something we have been meaning to do- we went to the Pocatello cemetery to see Eric's great-grandparents' graves! The Dunns:

We hiked R mountain with Jenae and Connor, it was cool! But sadly we didn't get any other pictures with Donny and Christine and their girls, or with Grammy and Grandpa Jamie who were there for the occasion! Talking to Christine's parents and watching a BYU football game were other fun events. Evelyn's baptism was so sweet, and the girls had so much fun with their cousins.

We got in a boating trip to Jordanelle one weekend! Here's the kids on the train in Park City.

Emma had some firsts: first day of preschool and first day of Let's Play Music. She likes to pick out outfits and hairstyles, maybe the most out of any of her sisters!

Whit's team did a service project as part of a fundraiser for a guy who was recently paralyzed- Brooklyn's family was in charge of the fundraiser. They do one every year in honor of her brother Carter who passed away from brain cancer 6 years ago. He was Katelyn's age, they even played soccer together when they were little! Anyway the girls got to swim afterwards at the Payson Pool. It was fun. Lilley, Megan, Courtney, Rylee, Avary, Whitney, Camille, Layla, Brooklyn. Ashlyn was also there.

Katelyn and Maris did singing class this summer, and here they are after the recital. They both did great on their solos! Maris was SO cute, she sang with her whole heart and sounded beautiful.
