October 2017, Little cutes all ready for the BYU race!

Owen did awesome. In practice he never ran all the way around the track; he would always say he was too tired and I didn't want to push him. Maris would run around the track like 3 times, but I think that just bugged him and made him NOT want to run haha.
He finished strong, and didn't stop! I was really proud of him.
Maris took 2nd place!! And she's only 3, and she wasn't even tired at the end! Next year I'll teach her how to kick. :) She was so cute and very proud of her medal. She still talks about it months later!
The real reason Owen ran the race-- he wanted the blue pancakes!!
