Emma Becomes a Real-Life 2-Year-Old

This picture right here says it all people.  She agreed after much coaxing to get in the picture, but she refused to sit down and is clearly letting everyone know that she will do what SHE wants to do hahaha
This post will show the basic 2-year-old life:
Hanging out with Maris at the aquarium before our passes expired.
hanging out with Shon during at-home preschool and snow-painting.
Pretending to use a pacifier for a day haha
Mom's a sucker for matching stuff.  Cuties!
Selfies with Mom. All. Day.
That one curl on the back of her head that Eric wouldn't let me cut!  It is pretty cute.
Playing with dice with Maris.
And then Emma had her birthday and officially turned two!  We celebrated by getting passes to the Springville Rec Center for the year.

She wanted to be on the counter with her cake!

And Kurtis and Lauren came over to help celebrate her birthday.  We played Harry Potter/Disney Headbands.
Emma LOVED the trampoline place, and has forever after called this outfit the "Jumping Place One"
This was her first time dyeing Easter Eggs!  We have always done it when she was asleep haha.

Easter Bunny Day fun.

She kept being so surprised to find candy inside, so cute.

Emma and Maris in their adorable matching backpacks.

Emma got all cuted up for the wedding. She wanted to go in the temple SO bad and kept standing by the door.
She loved the little flower ring she got!  Maris too.
She even ran up to hug Aunt Jenae. She likes her and Uncle Connor a lot!

Me and Kate trying to get Emma to come over for the picture haha
Sitting by Great-Grandad and Grandmom at the wedding dinner
With a view of Great Grandma and Grandpa Hansen and the head table.
And then it was time to get REALLY dirty at the reception at the Vineyard!  I honestly just took off her dress and washed her down in the big metal tubs my dad has at the Vineyard at the end of the night, then wrapped her in a towel to drive back to the house!
We went for a morning run, I love the green of California!!
swimming at Eastman Lake.
Mount Timp temple.
Vernal Temple with Daddy.
Grumpy baby inside Honeydukes at Universal Studios
Happy baby in the hogwarts greenhouse!
Emma came with me to visit the new headstones on some of my ancestors' graves at the Payson Cemetery.  She went back into the car for a minute, as it was parked right next to me and the door was open.  Then I turned around and she had found some old lipstick in the car that I use for the girls' performances!  So hilarious!  My Great-Aunt Roberta and her family all got a kick out of it. :)
Emma enjoyed our Memorial Day Cemetery visit as well.
And Emma LOVES babies!  Fortunately for her, she has a seemingly never-ending supply of baby cousins to hold and coo over.  This is Travis Craven. So sweet.

And that's our little sweetie.  Growing up by the day.

Whitney

Whitney had a fun Winter/Spring. Filled with lots of Sports!
Here's Whitney on a breakaway in her sweet neon shorts!
Whitney is in the pink.  She says "Ice skating is fun but I'm not doing it again."
Whitney taught the kids how to make slime at Owen's birthday party, she was a big help! She is a slime Pro.
And she was a perfect Darth Vader, coming out of the craft room to fight and then retreating after a minute.
More basketball.  She played in Spanish Fork this year with our neighbor.  She is a really fast dribbler and was the high scorer in most of her games!
 Foul shot!
 5 years of Whitney!
Whitney loved Wicked!  And still listens to the songs.
We got to go to a Jazz game with Kurtis!  He got us great seats.
Whitney was super excited to see Donovan Mitchell.

Whitney's team played indoor soccer in the winter and it was lots of fun!  A nice change and really good for their footwork!
 Easter eggs!
 Silly face Easter Pic
 Easter Bunny Day!
Whitney's face in the background!  We all get a kick out of Emma. :)

Whitney appreciated our stop at McFarland on the California trip.
and had fun learning how to play chess with Natalie.
Fun times at the Fresno Temple.
Whitney is addicted to chapstick like her Dad. :)
 hugging the bride!
Jr. Bridesmaids.  Whitney was pretty impressed that she got to have a bouquet!

Singing hymns at the wedding lunch.
And playing some killer 4-square with Caleb, Jonathan and Kent at the school!

Whitney's Birthday was the day before we left for FLorida, and she had agame that day we had to travel for. Crazy!  So she had her birthday party the day before.  It was a "Whitney's Favorite Things" party, so she and her friends made slime, played Dalmuti, and played soccer!

They had a great time.  Here's Morgan, Phebe, Maddie, Rylee, Kylie, Sulice, Whit, Rachel and Marjorie.

Her favorite colors are Aqua and Purple.

After the party we drove to Vernal and saw the temple, swam and the hotel and ate Cafe Rio.
Here's Kate and Whitney's photo bomb pics again haha.

After her game on her birthday (which they won!) we came home and opened presents.
Here's the only extra pic I have of Whitney from Florida!  She doesn't love taking pictures!
Whitney played the violin in the Elementary School Orchestra in 5th grade!  She did great but didn't love it.

Here she is in 2nd place in her heat of the 200 at Hershey Track.  She almost caught the girl for 1st! She has a great kick and I think she would be great at the 400 or 800.
She rocked Spring soccer; leading her team to 2nd place in their division!  They were 7-2-1 and Whitney got to play midfield and forward a little!

She worked hard on her State report/float for Arkansas.

Whitney saluting at the cemetery for Memorial Day.
And while Katelyn and Dad were at Girls Camp, we partied it up!
Now on to summer!!
