Big and little things

We had a really fun dinner at Pizza Factory for Happy Murray Day, mostly because everyone just loves these breadtwists! The Murray Awards were: K-Mime, W-Muscle, O- Motivated, M- Moving, E- Miracle :)

Emma made this at the Mount Loafer Ward halloween party (Eric's high council ward) and agreed to throw it away, but wanted a picture first.
Also a pretty big thing happened the end of October.....our ward split!  So Sad.  And I got called to be.....the new Young Women's President!  My dream calling, yay!  It has been a whirlwind. But I can absolutely say I was guided by the Spirit to know who to pick for all the leaders, I did a clean sweep and stayed minimal and it was been SO great with the leaders.
This was one of our first activities for the older class- They had lost of ideas, led by Whitney!  She is the class secretary.
Maris wanted a picture of the cute leaf and stick village she made. And I took a picture of this letter Emma wrote to great-aunt Lori.

Oh and this little thing that became a big thing- Eric re-learned to do a Rubik's cube, and proceeded to teach us all how. We became a Rubik's cube family!  The 3 younger kids picked it up so fast. Owen and Maris can do it in just over a minute.  Emma could do it all by herself in under 3 minutes!  This was how I would find her, or any of them haha.  Here's Eric teaching Katelyn. She has practiced a ton and several months later can do it in under a minute!! Whitney and I held out and didn't learn, but I ended up learning on our cruise. :) It's fun!!  But it still takes me like 10 minutes haha.  My record is six.
First combined YW with the new ward boundaries!  I love my counselor Kaelynn that I didn't know at all before!  Oh and here's the oldest girls back at that first activity.
My secretary Laura is awesome.  And here's group goal ideas.

I let them do Summer challenges until September 21st haha. So here's the papers before I finally took them down:

This was cool: the Fall Sing included more straight choral numbers than before.  Which I appreciated from the new director- Gabe Lee.  He is awesome.
Owen got to sing this Pledge of Alleigance with Abby Walquist and the Webster girl.
This was their Peter Pan Set. Owen is in the front middle in the lost boys outfit.
more PP and the choir number.  I love that they sang in parts!
Whitney got cleated all up her leg!!  I don't remember if this was in a fall tournament?
Emma decided she REALLY wanted bangs!  And begged for weeks!  So we finally did it.
We went to the St. George temple open house- it was so cool!

One time we played harry Potter Clue!  And here's a funny facebook memory in case I didn't save it back then.
funny face selfie by kate, and the girls trying on me and Eric's glasses haha.
