Backwards post! At the end of the day we sat in a cabana on the deck and it was actually warm and we got to watch the pretty sunset and lights of the city come out. Very romantic!!
Right when we got back on the ship before sunset. In the background is the area we kayaked out to the arch earlier! We took turns going to get food and drinks and treats and saving our spot on a cabana.Pretty beach, and ghetto beach!
We tried to relax for a while before getting back on the boat, but Eric HATES sand and we didn't have chairs... it was rough haha.
We walked through the tourist area.... and didn't love it! These guys placed iguanas on us and made us pay them....but they WERE pretty cool. I actually love how reptile skin feels.
We didn't want to eat at a fancy overpriced restaurant, we wanted real Mexican food! So we found this little shack on a backstreet, lol! SO ghetto but really good food! And I got an Agua de Sandia, it was actually delicious.
The first thing we did in Cabo, was a kayak and snorkeling tour out to the arch! We booked it on airbnb and it was fantastic to not be with a huge crowd from the boat. It was a little sketchy getting to the meeting place, but it worked out.
Our guide was super fun. At first he said we might not be able to go all the way out to the arch because it was pretty crowded with boats, but we ended up going. And later he told us he had to test us out to see if we could handle ourselves well on the kayaks before he knew if we could make it all the way out there or not lol! I'm glad we passed the test! Kayaking on the ocean was challenging but fun. And we got to see lover's cave "entran dos y salien tres" haha.
This was the arch, so cool. We stopped halfway back and did a 30 minute snorkeling, it was awesome. Saw tons of cool fish. Our guide was a pro. Then we headed back to the shore and did our shopping, eating, and "relaxing" before heading back to the boat. The weather was GORGEOUS and we had a fun time. But honestly I don't really need to go to Cabo again! It's small and dry, all the ship excursions were like 2 hours away, and it was just super touristy.
