Also while Eric was gone we had a short version of Art Camp- just 3 projects. So here are the kids with their masterpieces:
Owen loved painting, and surprisingly, loved gluing tissue paper on his hippo!
My favorite project of Whitney's was the Abstract weaving on the right, it turned out really cool!
Katelyn's on the right looks messy, but it was a fun one to try. We mixed water and glue and splattered it on a paper, then when it was dry we used watery paint to go over it and the glue was supposed to stay white. It kind of worked, but not real well!
And then one morning I went out early to water some flowers, Owen followed me outside, and the next thing I knew he was in the kiddie pool (that we had forgotten to empty the night before) in his pajamas!
So then the girls had to join him :)
And Owen got his first taste of sparklers!
So cute, he LOVED it, he wasn't afraid and didn't try to touch it after the first couple of times we stopped him, and he kept saying "moh, moh!" after each one. Can't wait for the 4th of July!
