Owen's Birthday

My commentary for these pictures got accidentally deleted, and it's been so long now that I'm ready to just post this without it! Here are the fun things we did for Owen's birthday, it was a blast.

Owen at 2 video!

So this is honestly mostly for me, as another backup so I can always have these precious videos.  Owen singing is such a soundtrack to my life right now, and I want to always remember his sweet little voice.  I love watching the old videos of Katelyn and Whitney with their cute little voices, so I'm sure I will love this too. :)

The first one is the best version of the BYU Fight Song I've recorded.  I've tried at least 20 times, seriously, but usually when I get out the camera he refuses to sing.  Or he gets distracted by tripping and falling, or by taking a bite of an apple, etc. etc.  So I finally got this one while I was running and he was singing it over and over.  He leaves out the "trail to fame and glory" line, but it's the best I could get!  

The next ones are Jingle Bells and Silent Night, in the dark car on the way back from seeing the Christmas lights at Temple Square.

Then there's Owen and Whitney singing made-up songs on his birthday, Owen saying "1,2,3,4,rocket ship!" instead of "3,2,1,blastoff!", and then 2 videos I caught this morning while Owen was coloring.  I snuck the camera over by him, hahaha.  He looks awesome in his bathrobe too :).  The first is the Armies of Helaman, and the second is "I am a Child of God" in Japanese. :)

Now in honor of the Olympics I am singing him the Star Spangled Banner at naps and bedtime, we'll see if he picks that one up too!
